When I told a friend that I found myself staring at my fruit bowl because there was something different about the orange and lime peels that I couldn’t articulate, he said I sounded like I was on LSD.
“People who are on drugs spend a lot of time staring at things saying that they look ‘different;” he joked.
Great, I sound like a drug addict. Good thing I don’t do any drugs or else I would really be going crazy at all the “new” things in my view.
How can I describe to people what I can barely understand myself? The oranges look different, more defined. The circles on the peel stand out more.
While driving a few weeks ago, I noticed that the backs of the cars in front of me seemed bigger. But the next day, I didn’t perceive the cars to be any different.
