While doing my vision therapy exercises, I was listening (note that I wasn’t watching) to the Daily Show. Thank you to Comedy Central for this show. Otherwise, the Brock string and the Batwing would be super boring without the show entertaining me.
The author Malcolm Gladwell was talking about advantageous disadvantages and about how successful people who had to overcome hardships, like CEOs of big companies like Charles Schwab who had to deal with being dyslexic, credit their disadvantages for their perseverance and success. He calls them “desirable difficulties”.
I think that if it weren’t for my being a strabismic, I wouldn’t pay attention so much to auditory content and I wouldn’t be a polyglot.
How about you?
