Don’t let the California Assembly bill 1110 to require comprehensive eye exams for students entering schools to die in committee! We have to act to get this passed in the California State Assembly’s Appropriations Committee before May 26th for the bill to move on for a vote.
Californians: Please call Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, the Chair of the Assembly Appropriations Committee and say that you are in support of Assembly Bill 1110, “Pupil health: eye and vision examinations” and want the bill to be included in an Appropriations Committee hearing before May 26, 2017.
It’s best to call, but if you can’t call during business hours, send a fax. You may have to state the California city or town in which you live. If you send a fax, in addition to your message to include AB1110 in a hearing, fax a copy of this AB 1110 flyer. (Use http://www.faxzero.com to send a free fax.)
